HPV DNA Test

ตรวจหาเชื้อเอชพีวี ดีเอ็นเอ 

The HPV DNA test is used to check for high-risk HPV infection in men and women. Some types of HPV can cause cervical cancer and other cancers. These are called high-risk types. It is recommeded as the primary screening method – starting at the age of 25 years, with regular testing every 5 years. 

การตรวจ HPV DNA เป็นเทคนิคทางด้านชีวโมเลกุล เพื่อตรวจหาตัวเชื้อเอชพีวี สายพันธุ์ที่มีความเสี่ยงสูงในผู้ชายและผู้หญิง ซึ่งบางชนิดสามารถก่อให้เกิดมะเร็งบริเวณปากมดลูก ผนังช่องคลอด การตรวจ HPV DNA จึงถือเป็นการตรวจคัดกรองที่ช่วยค้นหาและป้องกันโรคมะเร็งปากมดลูกได้ตั้งแต่ในระยะก่อนการเป็นมะเร็ง ซึ่งควรตรวจทุก ๆ 5 ปี
